We spend a lot of time talking about what we want . . .
——–
I want to travel the world . . . start my own business . . . lose 20 pounds . . . mentor children . . . support charitable causes . . .
—–
We say we want to do things, but we don’t. We start things and then we stop. Why is that?
—–
The excuses are endless . . . I don’t have the money, the time, the resources, the knowledge, the skills, the _____________, you name it.

The Reality is Maybe We’re Just Not Ready.
—-
Readiness comes in different forms. Depending on what you’re trying to do there are a number of readiness factors. Maybe you’re not physically ready, mentally ready, spiritually ready or emotionally ready. All of these are factors that can stop you in your tracks.
————-
Wouldn’t it be easier if we recognized and acknowledged that often we’re not doing the things we say we want to do because we’re just not ready? No blame game, no excuses, just a little inner truth.
——————-
I had been talking with someone for over a year or so about some of the things they wanted to do in their business. When we spoke recently, they made this revealing statement, “I’m really READY now!”
————
And this was the statement that made all the difference. When you’re ready, you’re ready. The excuses go away and you find a way.
————–
It may be a hard truth to swallow, but today I’ll ask you to take your own internal assessment as you contemplate the things you say you want.
—————–
Just ask yourself this simple question and offer yourself the most honest answer:
AM I READY?
——
P.S. – I’m looking for a few READY entrepreneurs and business owners to join me for the 90 DAY Business Challenge.
